The Help Desk I Agent will support our SuccessFactors and Blackboard help desk for a federal client. The Help Desk I agent will be responsible for the following:

  • Work to resolve Tier 1 help desk tickets related to SuccessFactors Learning and Blackboard Learn
  • Provide top-notch customer service to individuals and groups
  • Analyze Tier 1 issues to determine patterns, share patterns with team, and work to create a resolution
  • Document client business processes, requirements, and other business needs
  • Research, analyze, and interpret data
  • Establish effective working relationship with clients
  • Understand the professional development process and become actively involved by setting challenging goals and meeting them through continuous learning
  • Actively applying feedback received to day-to-day work and strive to improve performance

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree and 2 years of experience; preferably with a focus on help desk and learning management systems
  • Expertise in learning management systems
  • Knowledge of Blackboard is a plus
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • US citizenship required

Our client base is diverse, from Fortune 500 companies to military and civilian US government agencies. The common theme within these customers is the reliance upon advanced Learning Management Systems for online teaching and learning, to manage their people and business practices. The Senior SAP SuccessFactors HCM Consultant will be responsible for developing and maintaining reports to assist our customer’s business mission.

The following requirements apply to this position:

Serve as an expert in the functional realm for the SAP SuccessFactors HCM suite. Proficiency for listening, understanding, communicating and consulting at a world-class level, in addition to possessing a firm grasp on HCM functional capabilities are all pluses here.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and monitor all activities from initiation to delivery - accountable for overall performance and delivery of defined scope(s) of work
  • Serve as primary customer contact
  • Manage tasking originating from multiple customer groups – establish priority for tasking
  • Manage tasking via Microsoft SharePoint online portal
  • Develop solutions of varying complexity based on customer requirements
  • Adhere to established delivery methodology, quality standards and best practices
  • Facilitate client meetings, set and manage expectations on multiple projects
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of documentation and governance needed by the client
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and work as a liaison between the client, other contractors, and SAP SuccessFactors

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience configuring and implementing SAP SuccessFactors/HCM, including Learning
  • 5+ years of experience of enterprise software implementation (SAP SuccessFactors or other application, Cloud-based or on-premise, Commercial-off-the-Shelf or custom development)
  • 2+ years of client facing activities, to include leading workshops, demonstration and presentation of functionality, status meetings, being the technical face of the project
  • Superior communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly proficient with personal computing and standard business applications such Microsoft Office

Desired Skills:

  • Experience implementing additional SuccessFactors modules, preferably Performance and Goals
  • Certification in at least one SuccessFactors module
  • Experience acting in a trainer role
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with relational database models
  • Experience with XML

  • Serve as primary customer contact
  • Manage tasking originating from multiple customer groups – establish priority for tasking

  • Familiar with application servers (IIS, Weblogic, Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat)
  • UNIX / Linux – shell scripting/cron
  • Custom RDBMS Reporting tools
  • Data migration planning and validation
  • Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools (i.e. Pentaho, custom scripts, etc.)
  • Single Sign-On – SAML 2.0

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors – preferably SaaS within the SAP NS2 Secure Cloud
  • Eclipse Business Intelligence Reporting Tool (BIRT) or Plateau Report Designer (PRD)
