Deputy Program Manager

Serve as a leader managing a very large implementation project.  Proficiency for listening, understanding, communicating, and consulting at a world-class level, in addition to possessing a firm grasp on HCM functional capabilities are all pluses here.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist CSOD Program Manager in overseeing the CSOD implementation for a federal client, and interfacing with the client Program Manager in particular
  • Serving as primary back-up for the Program Manager
  • Overseeing reporting progress against project goals, milestones and deliverables
  • Represent Cornerstone OnDemand and the project team to the customer in pursuit of providing timely critical support to people possessing a variety of skills
  • Identify and assess project issues, and develop resolutions to meet project requirements and timelines
  • Provide periodic and ad hoc status reports focused on progress, newly identified issues, closed issues, and challenges.
  • Plan and facilitate meetings to achieve desired objectives.

Other Qualifications:

  • Experience with Talent Management System implementation (CSOD preferred)
  • Excellent oral, written and electronic communication skills
  • Experience working with government organizations
  • Proven ability to work with multiple programs and customer stakeholders
  • Experience managing and working with multiple subcontractors to staff a large program; project management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication and motivational skills; ability to create a productive work environment
  • Live in the DC area and willing to be onsite
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • PMP preferred
  • Required to be on the client site in Washington DC 3 or 4 times per week, and telecommuting the rest of the time

Business Process Consultant

Serve as an expert in the functional realm for the CSOD suite of products, specifically Recruiting and Onboarding.  Proficiency for listening, understanding, communicating and consulting at a world-class level, in addition to possessing a firm grasp on HCM functional capabilities are all pluses here.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus would be to support process improvement efforts in areas around recruiting and onboarding.  Baselining functional processes and re-engineering to incorporate/implement new technologies to help streamline the hiring process.
  • Identify, monitor and assesses operational and performance measurements/metrics from initial baselining assessment through fully operational implementation of business process and IT improvements.
  • Consult with customer on ways to drive value and savings through use of CSOD technologies.
  • Identify, define and document business and functional requirements in order to recommend process changes that optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ability to work collaboratively a with client and project team while providing objective insights that support a change management mindset
  • Plan and facilitate meetings to achieve desired objectives.
  • Assist the project team in identifying/creating a streamlined recruiting process
  • Document/update process maps


Other Qualifications:

  • Experience with Talent Management System implementation (CSOD preferred)
  • Experience with industry methods for process improvement, organizational design, organizational change management, or performance optimization
  • Experience researching best practices related to Recruiting and Hiring
  • Experience working with government organizations
  • Live in the DC area and willing to be onsite
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Required to be on the client site in Washington DC 3 times per week for the first 60 days, then less frequently, and telecommuting the rest of the time
